Founder & Principal

Smt. Parveen Chopra has devoted more than five decades to Indian Classical Music and music education.

A former Head of the Music Department at DAV Public School, Jalandhar, she has mentored generations of students and guided many to state and national-level music competitions.

Known for her patience, discipline and deep understanding of Indian music, she believes every child possesses a unique musical voice waiting to be nurtured.

Indian Classical Vocal

Khayal, alankar and swara-sadhana in the Hindustani tradition.

Harmonium

Bellows control, fingering and accompaniment for vocal music.

Tabla

Bols, theka and the taal cycles that hold a performance together.

Dholak

Folk and devotional rhythms, both hands, both heads of the drum.

Keyboard

Western notation alongside Indian melody, for younger students.

Bhajans & Devotional

Traditional bhajans, aartis and kirtan sung with classical control.
